Software consultant by day. Looking for a few guys who are similar-minded in forming a band (or need to add a new member). I was the lead singer of The Elastic Prism in the mid-to-late 60s. We played all the major clubs (including Catacombs) back then, so I do have stage savvy. Happy, upbeat, confidence w/o the ego, enjoys meeting new people. Not a big drinker or partier, just enjoying life. No drugs, no drama.

I have a Korg 264 keyboard that I enjoy playing. Although I am not really accomplished (as in expert), I have a good ear and can pick up a lot of songs just by listening.

Taught myself to play the flute and can play most Tull songs. Next, I want to learn the bass guitar, so I am looking into lessons for that. I could also be lead singer again if needed. But I think the bass is "calling" me :-)

Looking For

A group to join (or help form) to play 60s and classic Rock. I don't want to get into Alternative although I like to listen to it too.

I am looking to get into a Beatles Tribute Band OR a band that wants to do some of the old 60s GREAT music by Animals, Beatles, Stones, Cream, Doors, etc. If I do the Beatles Tribute thing, I would want to play Bass since I am Left Handed (and would get the Hofner)

Ideally, have a gig once a month or thereabouts. I desire to play for the music's sake and the audience, but if there is pay in it now and then, that would be great too.

Being a Christian, I would also be interested in a Contemporary Christian band that played now and then (either for fun or to become a group that would also play for worship services too).
