I am a Musicians Institute (GIT) graduate with a love of many styles. My playing preferences are catchy, guitar-driven blues and rock. While at GIT I had the privilege of studying with: Scott Henderson and Frank Gambale, occasionally with Robben Ford, and a few times with Jazz great Joe Pass; and also a host of other lesser known but world-class players. Locally I've had the honor of studying with Don Linke (jazz guitar) and Raymond Mueller (classical guitar) at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music.

Some of my past and present influences (although they are too numerous and diverse to mention them all) include: Larry Carlton, Scott Henderson, Robben Ford, Chris Cain, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Gary Moore, Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks, The Beatles, David Gilmore, Jimi Hendrix, SRV, EVH, Steve Morse, Steve Lukather, Peter Frampton, Robert Cray, Joe Bonamassa, Tommy Castro, Carlos Santana, George Benson, and anyone else who plays with taste, conviction, and has carved a voice for himself/herself.

• I have been playing part-time locally and in California since the late 1970’s, and giving guitar lessons part-time since 1984.
