Alisa Cooke-Iwumune-A Native of Baltimore, Maryland Beginning at Age Three, Alisa began sharing her Gift through Song.

Music and The Performing Arts played a major role, in her upbringing which encouraged exposure to many styles of musical forms from---Jazz/Classical/Pop/R&B to Latin…). Alisa studied Classical Music/Performing Arts at Peabody Music Conservatory. Later, Expanded Musical Studies through Jazz and Musical Theatre attended Towson State University. Alisa sang with Morgan State University Choir, under the direction, of the late Nathan Carter and The Baltimore Symphony Opera’s Chorus. Two consecutive years Alisa competed in the Billie Holiday Jazz Competition as a Semi-Finalist.

Alisa appeared as a Finalist on Ed McMahon’s “Next Big Star” Competition in 2002, In that same year Also, appeared on Showtime at The Apollo/NYC. Alisa has traveled the horizons and enjoyed many exciting musical accomplishments. However, nothing has been more exciting than the development of her Entertainment Company designed to Celebrate Cultural Arts through Mentorship Programs (Aspiring at risk Youths & Adults Performing Dance, Poetry and/or Song). Creative Entertainment Group-Founded five years ago, to provide Exposure and creative avenues/venues for talented emerging artists who’s, talents are expressed and showcased. Creative Entertainment Group provides musical entertainment for a host of events--Weddings/Parties & Community & Special Events, Benefits and Fundraisers (Providing Jazz/Gospel, R& B/Oldies, Classical, Neo-Soul and/or Hip-Hop Styles of Music).

• I studied Classical Music @ Peabody/Towson for 10 years and Jazz studies for 5 years and Also, Musical Theatre background as a youth player and Community Theatre and Off-Broadway understudy for(2) plays. Currently, performing as a Lead-Vocalist for (2) Jazz/Neo-Soul Groups. Performed at Art Scape (Baltimore Arts & Cultural Festival) Performer @ the Capitol & Hampton Jazz Fest & lately Vegas Casino showcase I have been a Lead/background singer for 10+ years and have travelled extensively for most of these years....Etc.......

• Forming a Trio or more w/ability to Entertain in Vegas (including Downtown Vegas), CA, Alanta,Tenn, Etc... Gigs are binded (Contracts)Casino and Jazz R & B Styling/Showcase. A sample of our sound also, need to be sent w/press packet Including Bio & Pic to comp'l booking process. If you have a passion for music interested in becoming a traveling showcase. Live for Music (Life) & only source of income (Professional wages/Casino rate). Must have professional image and standards, No Drama Kings or Queens & comfortable playing all styles of music including Latin,Rock even country if neccessary initially (The direction I like in forming this band would be Deep Soul (Neo-Soul) R & B/Jazz/Funk/Blues & Latin (War included). Must be comfortable with all music genres and styling. Serious Musicians Only!!
