I'm a quick study with very strong improvisational skills, and a firm working knowledge of a wide variety of techniques and styles of play. I'm self taught, so as I'm sure you can guess, my sight reading is pretty mediocre at best (don't come across notation in a working situation very often these days). I know charts well, though.

Other than that, I'm always looking for interesting projects and working bands to play with, usually irregardless of genre (there are a couple definite exceptions to this) if the players are good or passionate about what they're playing. That's sorta the deal with me. I'm always trying to go farther out there... whatever the fuck that means. In my experience you need those things to get there.

The audio track posted here is just a quick improv jam a drummer named Dan Stout and I recorded when testing levels one day at his studio. I added the guitar heard at the first half of the track for the same reason a few minutes later. The last half got stuck on there by a band mate a few weeks afterward for shits and giggles.

David Lynch, Salvador Dali, Henry Miller, that woman in the park with a dog named Walter, and the girl dancing by herself at the bar the other night... or nothing of that sort at all. I've always been of the mind that this is a fairly pointless and insulting question to ask any competent musician.

• Been playing bass live for over fifteen years. I cant count the number of bands or players I've played with. The number of shows either. There have been a lot of both. Its somewhat ridiculous. Quite a few sessions as well, though not nearly as many.
