Hello! I'm Shannon Bengford (29 year old Male). My awesome nine piece band is in search of male back up singers for my Classic Rock Theater Style Production set to launch this summer. I'm a keyboard player from Wisconsin. I have a music degree from Luther College. I've played classical piano, jazz, big band, but mostly classic rock in cover bands since graduating from college. I've also dabbled in composition for theater and a documentary film. I'm a full time musician that just moved to the St Louis area. I have no day job. I teach private piano lessons and perform. I met a great rock singer named Joe. He and I joined up with a vision to start our own theatre style classic rock show based out of St Louis. Combining my keyboards and musical direction with his amazing voice with marketing/advertising experience we are planning on putting together a great show. We are looking to hire a experienced male singers for our show, who love to sing great rock harmonies. The band is currently a nine piece band looking for our final super falsetto back-up vocalist so we can put this show on the map. We need a baritone or Tenor 2 type vocalist with a very high male falsetto voice to cover all of the highest Roger Taylor Queen type back up Vocals. • Lots of solo lounge piano, jazz bands, big bands, dixie-land, New Orleans style jazz, classical piano, and a bunch of classic rock cover band experience. My latest experience was with a very successful Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band, "Gone 2 Paradise" based out of Chicago. I just finished a 30 show summer with them.

  KINGZ OF ROCK PRODUCTIONS SEEKS AMAZING MALE SINGER FOR THEIR SHOW
  
  Hello to all those Male singers who like to rock and
  roll on stage. Kingz of Rock Entertainment is
  currently seeking one more very specific male vocalist
  to complete our forming four part chorus for our
  Classic Rock Touring Production. My name is Shannon, I
  am the music director and keyboard player for this
  awesome Classic Rock Themed Touring Production. This
  project is tentatively scheduled to launch early this
  summer, ready to perform with the already formed band
  (lead singer, keyboards, bass, two guitars, and
  drummer).

  This band is based out of the St Louis area with plans
  to travel for gigs mostly on the weekends during the
  beginning stages. Each member of this group will be
  offered a 10 show contract with competitive pay.
  Auditions are currently in progress and we will make
  our final decisions within the next two weeks. Please
  contact me for more details and charts to prepare for
  auditions as soon as possible.
  
  Below I've included a more detailed description of
  what we need range wise from our final chorus
  member/back up vocalist:
  
  BARITONE/TENOR VOICE: this person must have a
  tremendously strong falsetto voice for all the highest
  queen backup vocal parts as sung by Roger Taylor. This
  singer's full voice/chest voice/head voice range does
  not need to be comfortable much higher than E4-G4 on
  the piano, but must have the strong falsetto ability
  to nail notes as high as Ab6-Bb6 on the piano. Here
  are some specific examples out of Queen's Catalog
  where you can here some of the high falsetto notes we
  would like to here from our auditioning singers. Give
  these sections a listen and contact us if you are the
  voice we need.
  
  Example 1: Bicycle Race (a G5 note on the piano can be
  heard right before the bike bells break and the guitar
  solo section on the words "Bicycle, Bicycle, I want a
  bi-cy-cle(G5)...race).
  
  Example 2: Somebody to Love (a Ab6 note on the piano
  can be heard multiple times during the middle part of
  the vocal build up section and periodically throughout
  this vocal heavy section to the end of this song on
  the words "somebody to LOVE(Ab6)-LOVE
  (Ab6)-LOVE(Ab6)".
  
  Example 3: Bohemian Rhapsody (a Bb6 note on the piano
  can be heard at the end of the chorus section during
  the middle of this song on the words "for me...for
  me....for me(Bb6)....."
