I began to perform music as a youth in the 70's, followed by years studying music theory and jazz arranging in college. My primary genres of focus have been jazz/fusion and R&B. Some of my influences include Jeff Lorber, Brian Bromberg, and Alain Caron. In addition to fusion, I have spent many years playing in R&B groups ranging in styles from Earth Wind & Fire to newer artists such as Lakeside and Maxwell. Currently I am playing an unpaired 8-string Guitar, allowing me the flexibility to play bass, chords and melody.

I am also working on solo performance project, using a looper and laying down chords and melodies. Some samples of his work can be found on my web site.

• To Start another Jazz/Fusion group. My goal is to take songs either standards or modern smooth jazz songs and arrange them in make then uniquely this bands.
