Bio
I grew up in Milwaukee. Have played lead guitar most of my life. Sang backup most of the time. Over the years I've come to sing more lead vocals. I now have a 16-track studio for getting a nice demo for a band or duo. I've been in lots of bands - classic rock, country rock, top 40, R&B - you name it , I've done it, including duo work. Would like to start a really good DUO to showcase some really great music that has been around and not played to death. I am devoting my spare time to getting my solo act together which will also include backing tracks that I'm recording in my studio, so I can go out and perform a collection of music that has meant a lot to me over the years.

Influences
I grew up playing most all the Beatles songs, anything from the British invasion. I can do anything classic rock - Eagles, Stones Clapton, SRV, too many more to mention. I also enjoy playing the blues, R&B and Motown. I really dig guitar players like Robben Ford, Vince Gill, Tab Benoit, SRV, Jimi Hendrix and Johnny Winter.
Experience
  • I started playing guitar in 1962(8th grade). Saw the Beatles(64) and Hendrix(68). Played on a show with James Brown in 1967 with an R&B band when I was 18 and with Gary Puckett with a top-40 band in 1968. All thru high school we did gigs - from high school dances and CYO dances to college fraternities and beer bars and battle of the bands, talent shows, fashion shows, weddings, night clubs, cruise parties, etc. I've played in about 15 bands over many years. One of them, I was the bass player(1968), the rest I played lead guitar in. I ALWAYS sang backup vocals and can harmonize with anybody and always did a few lead vocals. Also, I sing more lead vocals now than I used to. In bands I always sing 4 - 10 songs a night without a problem.
Looking For
  • Would like to collaborate. Would like to start a dynamic duo - someone who can sing harmony to my lead and vice versa. Someone who can at least get by playing rhythm guitar - I can do the rest - with either lead or bass guitar. If you can play bass or lead too, all the better, we can share those tasks. I've got the PA and some serious chops. We can mix it up with acoustic and electric guitars.
