The band barely supported me for several years before I realized I wasn't going to get to be a rock star that way and wouldn't be able to have a family life so.....back to school/grad school and worked twenty years in child protective services. Married w/children, divorced, re-married. Retired. Sandwich generation.

• I have written a number of songs over the years. Of these, four have been done up as full-scale demos. More in the works. Playing piano for many years. Competent rhythm/backup piano player with a good feel for lyrics. Solid tone production on flute. Able to complement melodic line or play it (flute). Getting into synthesizer keyboard electronics. Not a virtuoso, not classically trained (but I do read music). Once I get a song down I am solid with the performance. Love grooving with a good bass player and drummer to support a great song. Love to sing harmony. Playing flute for about ten years. Mostly oriented to lyrical music. Enjoy almost all genres except rap/ hip-hop. Have amp, will travel.

• Want to find musicians with an interest in constructive rehearsal, resulting in fluent musical improvisation and solid performance. Start a band or duo for music projects such as: working up a set list of original music and covers to play for weddings, parties and events, gigs; pursue the songwriting muse in a collaborative setting. Seeking guitarist(s), vocalists (hopefully including alto or soprano), and singer/songwriter types. Interested in lyrically sophisticated songs, and music that takes on social/topical issues. Interested in Jewish music--both religious and secular. Would love to play flute on Celtic-sound based songs. Cool sounds and experimentation side-by-side with disciplined practice leading to exciting and satisfying performances.
