I was.......created from an amoeba and developed thru science.
Now a fully functional biped with tentacles, horns & feathers.......for sight,sound & defense.

I play rhythm & lead guitar, sing lead & backup vocals, some keys, bass, harmonica and a little mandolin......I write prolifically.

also.............500 + gigs, mostly Chicago stage experience .......many years doing RAAAAWWWKKK & acoustic shows, but also love many styles of music and ready to do a smokin' RHYTHM & BLUES//FUNKY rock project.

All pro gear, P.A., Tascam digital recording unit & great practice space for cheeeeaaaaap.
Have too many original songs to mention.........you'll just have 2 call or come over to take it in.......THO those are NOT part of this project.........this is about playing for the peeps in the audience...no big egos allowed.....if you have one that big, go play with yourself........tee heeee.....

wow----big question there.........I collect and listen to just about every genre.........I have maybe 100 favorite artists but not one, two or three...........too much talent out there to focus in on a handful.

I'm a big fan of melody.........if you have it, I'll dig it.....also like to get down in the groove of a pattern, explore a bit before surfacing and make it all work to a beat.

• tons...............500+ shows in midwest, tri-state area. At time, backing up larger club bands with names.
  Came this (*) close to being signed to Warner Brothers then band got all goofy and fell apart. Numerous recordings of originals and lots of stage experience.
  
  Easy to get along with.......laid back, sense of humor and focused all in one.........want to go out and bend some serious ears with the locals....occasionally.........already been there-done that with bands trying to make it.......now, just for the pleasure of playing and entertaining each other and well, occasional audiences......

• PUTTING A RHYTHM & BLUES/FUNKIFIED ROCK BAND TOGETHER--modern with A FEW traditional blues themes
  
  Rhythm section: bass & drums, horns or keys.............must be versatile and fill your space well......if we're a small group, everything you do must be spot on, tight, synced, creative.
  
  Ability to sing or play second instrument a plus.
  
  Want someone who is responsible, self-accountable, trustworthy. Don't care or mind if you drink or smoke.......just don't overdo it for rehearsals or you're gone... I like to party too but there is a time for that....so, no idiots. A sense of humor encouraged.
