I'm a tenor sax player with a knack for fitting in on many types of styles. I have been happily jamming with a group in the mid-cities for a number of years but I'm just not getting to play out as often as I would like. I can fit in well with most players as long as I don't have to compete with screaming metal guitar players with amps set to eleven, LOL. Some people assume sax means jazz but I'm more comfortable with music in the Rock/Blues style of Clapton, Grand Funk, Stevie Ray, Rolling Stones, Bob Seger, ZZ Top, blues, etc. I do like to just JAM as well. Blues progressions are a blast. I must admit I'm like a fifth wheel though when it comes to hard metal for example. Maybe we could just jam together and see if we like the fit, no strings attached. At the very least you could file me under "sax player". You never know.
