- Bands in the '80s that went nowhere (a total of two disastrous appearances at parties), been writing/recording solo ever since.
Looking For
- Very casual, occasional messing around with other musicians. I've got a career and a family, meaning I have very little time, all of it on weekends. I'd just hate to think I'll never again spend an hour playing music with others, and I remember how fun it is just to kick out a few songs and knock back a few beers. I'm about as far as you can get from wanting a serious gigging band; I just can't put the time into it, nor can I afford the time to learn any extensive originals. For the same reasons, I wouldn't ask anyone else to invest the time in learning my originals, unless they really wanted to. But playing '80s rock and metal, that is a ton of fun, and something I can make some time for.
